Jinjiang Real Economy Forges Ahead

For example, 361 Degrees switched to a novel dual-track sales model, which injected impetus into the upstream and downstream supply chains and achieved a higher total sales volume compared with the previous season. Likewise, such companies as Septwolves, Lilanz, K-Boxing, Xtep, Panpan and Yake are also pursuing an all-round marketing strategy to fully tap into the new momentum of growth.

  In the face of the upcoming storm, Jinjiang entrepreneurs, whose motto is “Dedicate yourself and you will win“, keep forging ahead by insisting on the development of real economy, accelerating transformation and innovation, and trying out new marketing strategies.

  Taking Active Actions

  With overseas orders cancelled and domestic consumption reduced, industries in Jinjiang are also under staggering impact in the shadow of the pandemic. However, some have demonstrated their tenacity, taking active actions to explore new room for development, instead of simply waiting or relying on the government. The leading enterprises, especially, soon understood the situation in the mist and adjusted themselves to address the uncertainties.

  Anta, with its brilliant performance in 2019, acted promptly by virtue of its inborn tenacity: 80% of its production capacity was restored within 10 days after the resumption of work; more than 60,000 employees and agents became online customer service within 3 days; the logistical system provided round-the-clock service.

  “The harder the situation is, the harder we have to persist. Globalization has always been the mission and long-term vision for Anta Group. It will never change whatsoever,“ said Ding Shizhong in an internal pep rally. He also commented that it is vital to seize the opportunity and innovate during the pandemic.

  Anta is not the only enterprise to face the difficulty and take the challenge with vigour and tenacity. Lilanz initiated a cross-industry cooperation with China Daily; Qiaodan Sports resumed work and production to 100%; Septwolves unveiled new products with “black technology“. Even though stranded in the epidemic, industrial leaders in Jijiang have carried out a series of positive changes and are striding steadily toward their strategic goals respectively.

  Targeting a new path

  The crisis actually accelerates the closing down of backward production facilities and offers a new opportunity for superior enterprises to come forth.

  “Bucking the trend &mdash; Lilv Group recruits 200 employees for growth and expansion“. This recruitment advertisement has been forwarded widely in WeChat recently.

  To meet the needs of five newly-established production lines, Mr. Wu Hongyan, CEO of Lilv Group, is recruiting staff, “Our sales rose by 40% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2020. With 400-million manufacturing capacity brought by the 5 new production lines in Jinjiang and Anhui, our production and sales departments need to double their employees respectively.“

  Lilv Group is not alone. Jinjiang’s food enterprises are known to be expert at seizing opportunities. Though challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic, they target “the stay-at-home economy” and manage to create a new path for Jinjiang food industry. Labixiaoxin Foods Industrial Company has doubled the sales of Laominnan scallop rice noodles, oden, and self-heating rice; Ayibo&#39;s seaweed, spices and instant soup continue to be in great demand; Lelolo Food Company focuses on community e-commerce and some of its dealers sold more products in a month than they did last year. The list goes on and on.

  主动应对

  外贸订单取消、国内消费停摆……疫情投射到经济当中,晋江企业亦受到很大的冲击。但不少晋企也显示出坚韧的特性,不等不靠,主动出击,不断探寻创新发展的空间。特别是行业龙头企业,很快在一片迷雾中正确认识自己,重新调整,迎战形势的不确定性。

  凭借着与生俱来的韧劲,在2019年交出亮眼成绩单的安踏快速行动:正式复工的10天内恢复80%的产能;不到3天,超6万名由员工和经销商担任的“店小二”时时在线;物流体系提供7×24小时的服务……

  “越是困难的时候我们越要坚持长期主义。无论怎样,全球化是安踏集团长期愿景和使命,不会改变。”丁世忠在内部动员大会上掷地有声。他说,在疫情中如何变革,抓住机会非常重要。

  因为主动应对,积极调整,不少晋江企业以韧克艰、以韧攻坚,展现十足的韧劲。利郎与中国日报跨界合作,乔丹体育100%复工复产,七匹狼上新“黑科技”产品……疫情围困下,晋江行业龙头一系列积极变化,正朝着各自企业的战略目标稳步迈进。

  瞄准新赛道

  疫情之下,市场并非只有哀鸿一片。危机客观上加速了落后产能的出清,也为一批优质企业的“拔尖”提供了新机遇。

  “逆势下的成长与扩招&mdash;&mdash;力绿食品招聘200人。”近日,这则招聘启事在朋友圈转发量不小。

  为了满足企业新投入的5条生产线的需要,力绿集团执行总裁吴鸿岩正招兵买马:“我们2020年第一季度销售额同比上升40%。今年新增5条生产线,晋江与安徽两地的厂区共计拟扩大4个亿的产能,生产、销售团队分别需扩容一倍。”

  力绿并非个例。疫情之下,总是善于发现机会的晋江食品企业瞄准“宅经济”,为晋江食品扩出“新赛道”:老闽南扇贝粉、关东煮、自热米饭,蜡笔小新多个品类增加翻倍;阿一波紫菜、速溶汤、调味品等供不应求;乐隆隆食品与经销商则深挖社区电商,有经销商仅一个月就打破了去年一年的销量……

  该做的发力做,守护实体雄心不改变。晋江食品企业家身上流露出的敢拼、爱拼、善拼的个性,其实正是晋江企业家的鲜明特征。在改革开放大潮中,他们始终在市场竞争最为激烈、附加值又不高的传统产业领域中摸爬滚打,在充分竞争的食品领域求生存、求发展、求壮大。

  创新创造

  创新发展“晋江经验”,离不开守护实体经济这个“传家宝”,也离不开晋江人“扛旗领跑”的创新创造精神。
